Yeah it is. 4 cats and 3 mufflers will do that.

Soon as I get the right brackets for my shifter, I’ll pull it out the garage and get a proper video of it.

Little bit disappointed today. Pulled the hat off the diff. Doesn’t have the 3.45’s I thought it had. Just a regular 3.08 diff

Any how, I’ll give it some fresh oil and and change the gears when I eventually build the diff.

Also think I’ve sourced the correct brackets for my shifter. I learnt the other day that the linkages under the car didn’t fit as I originally brought the shifter when I had the glide. Now it’s a t400.

Is your shifter set up as Glide or 400?

Shifter is to suit glide. So the cable bracket doesn’t bolt to the box. And I’m using the glide selector leg.

I’ve literary just picked up a cable bracket from a mate. Fingers crossed I can make it work with the glide selector.

Also bled my brakes today. Come up a treat. Couple of weeps, but I’ll that that for the first time I’ve made brake lines for a car.

Also in a quest to find the biggest tire to fit under the ass end, I’ve acquired a set of 255/35, 265/35 & 275/35’s lol. 255’s fit comfortably so I just fitted the 275’s. I rekon they will fit but I won’t Know exactly until it’s back on the ground.

    fingers crossed

Just take a good look at the passenger side where the spare sits. I didn’t and it’s a touch closer to the tyre that the drivers side. Slight love tap with a mallet fixes it though.

There is probably a Stop installed so it can only select 2 gears instead of 3, should be in the instructions, I had to do this when I swapped from 4 gears to 3.

Im a bit late to the party but great thread Cava. Ive just read it from start to finish over the last couple of days. Love the clean and simple styling.

Do you know the bore size of the VZ master cylinder and if theres any advantage over a VT booster/master combo? On my VN I run VT booster/master with VE front calipers and 330mm discs, and was planning on the same for my VG ute. I actually already have a VZ booster/master but didnt think it would work just splitting the front line out the one port. My VN set up works pretty good, but the fronts can lock up a little too easily.

Im pretty sure it’s the same size wise. Only difference between them its only 2 ports instead of the 3/4 like a regular setup. So I went with this being neater.
I split the fronts, I’ll soon find out how it goes. Worse cause a proportioning valve can be installed.

Not having much luck of late. Couldn’t find the TCI lever kit, but was told the B&M is the same as they come out of the same factory…turns out it fits and lines up every gear but reverse. So back to the drawing board to chase the correct part, which should now land late next week.

Partially devo as i could of taken it for a drive but i cbf taking it of the jack stands only for it to go back on in a weeks time.

Also cross threaded a spark plug, fixing they wasnt fun…….

Hopefully next weekend she can move under her own power.

So much better with the pacemakers. I’m glad I gave up on the 4-1’s in the end. I can do all, in 10minutes.

Unless I cross thread it. Then it blows out hahahah
