Posts: 585Top work Cava. Whats the Haltech dash like? Is it running off the factory ECU?

Yeah factory ecu. I haven’t really explored the options and set it up correctly but so far so good.
It doesn’t display everything tho. As the ecu doesn’t spit out all the relevant info.

Posts: 585What data does it display? i’d love to get one but dont want to have to get all the sensors to make it work properly.
May 4, 2020 at 1:14 pm #32075Everything I need so far aside from
Oil pressure and Temp
Fuel Pressure
Trans Pressure and Temp
May 5, 2020 at 8:36 pm #32087Minor hiccup. Box gotta come out. I didn’t put the spacer in for the converter. So it’s not turning the pump. FML

Posts: 5 777Don’t take this the wrong way but probably won’t be the only issue you deal with.
May 10, 2020 at 1:09 pm #32112Yeah that’s. It’s a small problem nothing is broken etc. I’m actually in fact going to send the converter away to get modded as apposed to running spacers etc.

Posts: 5 777My spacers are Tig welded to the converter. One less thing to get wrong…

Yeah that would be ideal, but I can’t see how it would differ from using the correct spacer and having it locktite together.
Using a spacer I also don’t have to drop the box. I can just undo it, walk it back 1 inch and slip it in. Shit loads easier.

Posts: 5 777Technically it’s not as strong coz the bolts are in double shear, but it does mean box out.

May 23, 2020 at 9:08 pm #32204Gave it a nudge today and thanks Ian Ian for spinning me up some spacers I got the box out and then converter sorted today. All that’s left is drop some oil in and fire the car back up.
I also purchased an auto meter oil pressure gauge, since it’s one thing my ecu doesn’t display on the ic7. Also got a mount of Gary and I’m rather pleased with how it looks.
May 23, 2020 at 10:30 pm #32205Very welcome Cav, almost there!
May 24, 2020 at 6:43 pm #32209Box is all done. Fired her up and we got 40psi on the trans cooler lines. So I’m pretty happy. Tick
