Bit to do still, a lot of loose ends. Trying to book the car back in to spend some time with my mate who’s doing all the other wiring, but being this time of year everyone is hektic. I am too at the moment doing 60 hour, weeks. So even if I wanted to, id struggle to do much.
November 26, 2019 at 8:53 pm #30608Looks clean as hell dude

November 27, 2019 at 9:21 pm #30612A few setbacks, such is life…plan is to get tubbed sle back on road next year.
If can get the time + money want to send motor off to TK
January 12, 2020 at 9:27 pm #31063Last day of the holidays decided to do some work lol
We got the wiring under the guards all run and buttoned up. Engine loom is also all run and neatly tucked away. Very happy with the quality. It’s only been sitting in a box for 4 years….
Guards and bonnet back on also. So now the car is ready to be towed again. Aust day weekend it’s going to the fab shop.
Exhaust, tailshaft, RACE intake and anti roll bar will all be done.
I’ve also picked up a vs v6 air box. Gunna make something simple to get it on the road and then change later.
Also finally got a battery in it and powered up everything. All lights and accessories are finally up and running. It’s prob been 10-13 year since they have fired up.
Altezza lights are all fitted too and I have my LED lights all installed. Super bright lol
January 12, 2020 at 9:53 pm #31064Looking good Cav, small point and not sure if you want to do anything about it, the heat exchanger will work and drain better if you turn it either 90 or 180 degrees so the in/out is either on the side or bottom..
January 12, 2020 at 10:54 pm #31067Not sure what you mean. But the inlet and outlet are top and bottom ATM
???
Or you talking about the trans cooler?
then instructions said either up or too the side. Never face down??- This reply was modified 4 years, 10 months ago by cava454.
January 13, 2020 at 6:26 am #31071Ok I stand corrected, usually mount mine to the side, up is ok, down is not so good..

January 14, 2020 at 6:18 pm #31087Start of my airbox install.
Shiney guard bolts
January 20, 2020 at 9:01 pm #31148It’s been along time since it’s has all its panels on. But thought it would be nicer to tow with looking like this.
Intercooler and trans cooler are super stealthy with bar on. Everything and all my lines fit too. Pretty happy with that since I winged it all and forgot to check the bar mounts prior to install lol.

Posts: 775wow that looks clean a different to what we have been seeing
January 21, 2020 at 5:46 pm #31156I forgot what it looked like too. Clean no, it’s filthy. But I lashed out on some killer cleaning products so I’ll give it a good scrub this week.
January 23, 2020 at 6:29 am #31177Got a couple hours in the garage last night.
Mounted my catch can. Was very limited on spots it would fit and I refused to drill it to my fire wall. Sooo hidden away it is.
Also got my ricer spec SAAS billet radiator overflow. Surprisingly it’s very well made. With the limited bits I had at home I mocked up something but I’m not happy with it. After consulting some people they too recommended straighten it up. So I’ll get a custom bracket made up Ian cough* cough* lol
Away this weekend. Then when I’m back I’ll tidy up the w2a feed hose under the car and prep it for towing duties to the fab shop. I’ll also give it a bath.
January 23, 2020 at 6:37 am #31178Happy to help Cav, will need some sort of drawing..
February 2, 2020 at 6:24 pm #31280So big day today. She is finally of the jack stands and has all its body panels on. Been a while since.
Pushed it out and gave it a bath. Got some killer cleaning products over Xmas and I’m very impressed to say the least.
Any ways. Here are the photos. Excuse the tone changes. I just worked out how to do it on the iPhone LOL

Posts: 585Looks good mate. It’s surprising how excited you get when you finally clean all the crap off after building a car for so long, I reckon it’s one thing to do if you’re starting to lose the passion to get it done, definitely gets the fire burning again
February 2, 2020 at 7:22 pm #31283So pretty…
