That was one of the big changes going with Circle D they offered a choice in stators, my Dominator was very very loose, the Circle D drove like a stockie till you stalled it up.

January 2, 2018 at 11:05 pm #25591I have just spent the last 2 nights reading through your build and all I can say is wow CAV!!!!!
My hat comes off to you.
So I am about to set off on a similar journey however not as hard core!!!
I have a few questions for you all
My Plans: VS LSA & T56 Combo.
How big of a KFrame space will be required to reframe from utilising the group a toilet seat?
Will engineers sign off with KFrame spacers?
Do you have a link to the caddie hats ?
Parts I am currently thinking of using
* tuff mounts thoughts?
* Pacies, thoughts?
* Astra power steering thoughts?
* Gearbox mounts?
* Starter relocation kit brands? ( I will be running p/s)
* W2A pump Brand recommendation
* Electrical A/c pump, any recommendations
I Will definitely use PWR rad & Heat exchanger & Vz booster and master.
Lastly if I am reading this correctly you will be engineering this as N/A?
Thanks Daniel

WILL NEED 50mm ID IMAGINE, if you have any chance of fitting stock hat
UNLESS U USE UGLY CTSV HAT IMO and then still use 30mm spacers
Will engineers sign off with KFrame spacers?
DONT KNOW IF THEY ARE LEGAL
Do you have a link to the caddie hats ?
NEGATIVE. WILL, NEED TO BUY FROM USA, AROUND $500isg
Parts I am currently thinking of using * tuff mounts thoughts? * GOOD
Pacies, thoughts? * EASIER
Astra power steering thoughts? * NEVER USED ONE
Gearbox mounts? *TUFF MOUNT WITH RUBBER MOUNT
W2A pump Brand recommendation *
SAME AS ME, I CAN SUPPLY BOUT $550 depending US dollar
Electrical A/c pump, any recommendations
DEPENDS IF LOW MOUNT OR HIGH
I Will definitely use PWR rad & Heat exchanger & Vz booster and master. Lastly if I am reading this correctly you will be engineering this as N/A? Thanks Daniel

1 of many stupid laws that should be abolished.
January 5, 2018 at 5:02 pm #25615Yep shit rule.
Had a big day today bay is ready for paint. Good mate Tony come past. Helped me remove engine and all the body parts. Also Sussed out the wiring etc and a plan of attack
Thankfully we removed the sump again just to double check everything I did last time it was out.
Turns out it was a big life saver. There was metal shavings in the sump from where the bolts have stripped the holes in the baffle kit.
THANKFUCK we caught it.
January 5, 2018 at 6:49 pm #25616Nice save, I opened mine up for inspection when I first uncrated it just for peace of mind!

Until you guys adopt the National Code Of Practice (NCOP) that is, then you’re screwed!
AFAIK, only SA and NSW are still holding out on using the NCOP, all the other states have already changed over, but then NSW sucks so bad that I sometimes think we’d be better off with the NCOP anyway?
January 13, 2018 at 8:45 am #25673Just picked up my radiator, heat exchange and headers from Race Coatings.
All got done in a ceramic thermal displacement coat. Come up killer and very well priced.
January 13, 2018 at 3:09 pm #25674Don’t they look awesome!

January 18, 2018 at 8:50 am #25708Few more parts starting to arrive. Moroso Battery box came today as well as my OKC fuel rails. 👌👌👌
Car is going to mates house on weekend so we can get a start on the wiring side of things. 👌
January 18, 2018 at 2:24 pm #25710Blingy goodness!
Not long now Cav!
January 19, 2018 at 12:19 am #25712would you happen to have any photos of how much the blower sticks through the bonnet ? also did you use a k frame spacer? ive been watching this build since you first started excelent write up
January 19, 2018 at 8:14 am #25713No spacers. Bonnet would be 5-10 from the underside of the group a scoop.
Throttle body had to be installed upside down to fit also.
