Have you got enough tyre clearance to tank with big wheels?

Will look good with the big wheels & fuel tank out back…reckon ot’s a better look than twin pipes on commo’s

    mmm nice shiny parts

Didn’t think about using the TCI dual drilled Flexplate and using a dedicated TH400 converter?

Just means if down the track you make a change you can easily offload the old one as there’s way more TH400/350 buyers than LS/TH400..

I have the Tci flex plate. The converter is to suit that….I hope.

DOH so you didn’t need a Conversion Converter at all…

The Flexplate has both LS1 and TH bolt patterns in it, you just use a pilot adaptor that comes with it to run the TH Converter, it’s done now so all good!

They knew I had this flex plate before when they spec’d it all up.

Can you tell by eye if it’s ls converter or not?

Just line it up on the flex plate, if it’s the outer ring of holes it’s LS if it’s the inner it’s TH.

Yep that’s what I meant by it’s all good, I run the same flexplate so it was just still in my mind from my conversion.

    Nice!!!

Was thinking of sending my trimatic down to him next year, seems to offer great work for the coin.

Thought you’d be wanting 3500rpm stally like most lsa conversions seem to have?

Mark does great work. For the trimatic another killer Shop is PTC/ProMatic in tullamarine. They are the ducks nuts of trimatics.

Lsa makes instant torque so too big a converter and I’ll miss most of that goodness.

Think it might be a promatics already…I’ll have to check.

Maybe gave you the 3k stally just in case with a cam & pulley kit the extra torque will raise it higher lol

Have you seen any with ls9 tops put on them or too exxy compared to caddy top conversion?

He did say it will flare a little when I chase more power.

Ls9 blower conversion is pretty pricey. They are making similar numbers with the 1.9ltr when they have been modded. So bang v buck it’s not worth it.

Caddy top is a lot cheaper and bolts directly in too.

Actually went for a 2400 this time, the 2700 was letting it flare into boost off slow corners and lighting up all 4… (on Tarmac)

Hopefully this is In the sweet spot. I do plan on giving it some decent boost. Hopefully doesn’t flare it too much.

The bloke said there is plenty to move with the stator in this. So if it needs re adjusting in future it’s no big deal.

Hopefully in next couple weeks can have some decent updates.
