That all depends when your bringing my wheels past
progress is slowly happening. Trying to get the painter down to suss bay and give me a quote.
Maybe while I’m fitting. The wheels u can jot down some notes
October 31, 2016 at 6:03 pm #20406That moment when you finally get the pump back into the tank and look down and see you forgot the gasket!!!!!!
October 31, 2016 at 6:43 pm #20407Pump attachment looks good
October 31, 2016 at 7:28 pm #20408Yeah pretty happy. I modded the return.
No longer uses the intank hose with the restrictive check valve. Instead run the hose so it pumps directly back into the cage.
October 31, 2016 at 11:19 pm #20413That’s smart move man
November 2, 2016 at 3:32 pm #20423So you added the second line to the tank bulkhead? The pump carriers I’ve seen only have one hose connection.
November 2, 2016 at 7:36 pm #20425Nah they should all have 2.
Instead of it going to the intank return line and check valve. I’ve just made my own.

Maybe it’s just early tanks, but mine have always had the return line integral to the tank itself…

Possibly.
The check valve in the tank which feeds back into the basket is very restrictive. Can cause the surge tank to balloon or over pressurise if the return from surge to main isn’t free flowing enough. This should illeviate the problem.

Posts: 5 777More info please, what exactly is an ice tank and the pump etc?
December 19, 2016 at 5:37 pm #21121The LSA uses a water to air intercooler. Not your traditional air to air.
The water pump pumps pumps the water thru the brick, heat exchanger and storage tank/ice box.
When I race I’ll fill the tank with ice for some super cool IAT’s

nah mate. Way to expensive esp since h AC gear didn’t come with my car. To retro fit a new setup + the chiller would of been up around $3500. Then I would have had ugly rubber lines in the bay also.
im doing my best to tackle the issue. 13L tank, the EMP pump (one of the best you can get), -16 feeds and returns, -12 lines to brick etc. the only thing that can let me down is my ling long HX.
