How did u get the badge made?
Got it made by Jason Ackland @ Stickthis Decals Dont have a lot of time or luxury of kitchen in garage to get a hell of a lot done of late. But wiring is under way. My mate Tony come passed and gave me the heads up for now on what to do.
Hahahah that would be the wifes worst nightmare mate!!! Can vouch that cav has some impressive bits of kit to go in it, the wiring will def be a chalenge would think its up to Tones n how long it takes, not sure how much ol Cav will be doing
Ill do what I can. But it’s defiantly out of my league re: the engine loom. Tones can get that sorted and I’ll be coffee boy.
No photos of the cage. It’s just s standard 4 point with intrusion bars.
May 24, 2016 at 6:46 am #17150Wiring actually isnt that hard to understand
it seams daunting but most of it is actually pretty simple when you start to understand it just need a auto sparky to learn basics of most of it
May 24, 2016 at 8:06 am #17154I know the gist. It more so the chopping and relocating of certain sensors on the ls1 loom to suit LSA.
The LSA has 3 map sensors As supposed to to the 1 on an LS1. Etc

June 1, 2016 at 9:43 pm #17446So sold my RacePak dash. Sadly was gunna be too much of a headache and dint in the pocket to get it functioning how I wanted. So now I’ll go back to autometer gauges 😭
Nearly got my choice for ECU and loom nutted. Waiting on a few more answer re Eflex and then I’ll order. Gunna get it Made rather then do it my self. I simply don’t have the time.
As is atm.

Posts: 5 777What are you planning water pump/ps pump wise? Just I may be onto a nice alternator direct drive set up which is pretty trick, but it means running an electric water pump?
June 2, 2016 at 10:29 am #17452It’s got the stock water pump on it. No power steering. Has manual rack in it.

Posts: 5 777Yea I only really did mine coz it came without any ancilliaries, so started with nothing. They are supposedly worth 10hp, but not sure anyone has ever back to backed the same engine with or without one to verify that. Another white 2nd gen came up on my fb the other day with an LSa, they are getting popular.

June 2, 2016 at 12:34 pm #17457Is that the VN?
I know in my old car when I changed to EWP And a full twin 2.5 from twin 2.5 to single 3 it picked up 14rwkw.

Posts: 5 777Not sure if VN. Do you mean 14rwkw with just the EWP or exhaust change as well?
June 2, 2016 at 3:56 pm #17462There is several photos floating around of a White Vn smooth bay etc.
Was both mods at the same time.

Cheers for the kind words regarding the kit. We put in a lot of effort to get them where they are at.
Funnily enough Cava used to hassle me about an alternator relocation kit for the 5L’s back in the day on SC when I was putting a T04Z onto my 5L lol.

Pretty much lol
A mate of mine (PREDATR off of SC) and myself came up with a simple kit to run only an alternator on a LS based motor. It utilises the factory position of the alternator, but integrates an adjustable pulley to tension the belt.
