Posts: 435hey cava, just a quick question about your old VR, you fitted a drain to the bottom radiator hose, what did you use?
January 23, 2016 at 8:45 am #13555Yeah I did mate. Best thing I did. Got sick of making a mess and wasting coolant when I had to continually drain it etc when I was sorting my cooling system.
Used these http://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/191723969035
I just had a bung in it. On the bottom hose facing down. You can buy little ball valves that’s screw in also.

Posts: 435yeah that’s what I liked about it, had to drop the coolant in my mates Vt last year, due to a faulty new radiator (slightly leaking) had to do it twice as the relplacement lasted about 3 weeks after that
I did spot a radiator drain plug with a ball valve and barb on it. So might go that way
January 23, 2016 at 4:01 pm #13563Yeah. My 80 series has a drain plug. But the stupid thing sprays straight into the cooler lines and goes everywhere LOL
