So as some may know I sold my old VR SS. Having owned it since 2006 (first car) it was time for a change, in particular a faster change.

I had been eyeing off a VR bt1 on eBay for 6-8months that kept popping up and every time I’d kick my self for not buying it. I eventually found it again when the new owner was selling it. I went and had a look and for the price couldn’t say no.

It’s a genuine 86,000km car. The interior was immac. And it had a open door respray. Didn’t come with a drive line. But it had run 10.49.

Slowly collecting parts and hopefully in the next month or so I’ll knuckle down into it seriously.

I’ve already done a fair bit of work, inc transferring my better parts from the SS into this. Prior to selling it.

    Any ways. Here some snaps

    The old.

    The new

It used to have this motor running in it. Was for sale in Epping for ages. Until a guy in Paterson Lakes purchased it. I brought it off him. For a lot less then the guy in Epping wanted.

Should have it all in a couple weeks…

My brakes are all installed, front only I’ll do rears once I tub it.

The front end got an overhaul. Re did the log in Whiteline gear. Rear will cop same when tubs are done also.

All my old Devonish interior is in also along with a Stato center consol I purchased to change it up a bit. Also picked up a new parcel shelf cause the old owner hacked it up to fit around the cage.

It’s just a BW which I’ll cut down and build with full spool, 31 spline and 3.7 gearing.

Nice, you plan on staying with the GRP A manifold?  They really are a decent manifold considering when they were designed/made.

Normally with W2A once you’re over 500rwhp the hardware gets big heavy and bulky, not really sure just how big the Core in the LSA is but I believe they’re making good power with them, was that 900 you’re shooting for Crank or Wheel?

Usually the Pump supplied is barely adequate, I’m using an DC EWP-130 in mine after the Upgrade Ford Lightning Bosch pump was only a little better than the small Harrop pump supplied with the kit..

Aiming for 450rwkw.for now. I wa spooking at the PWR upgrade for the VE. It won’t fit mine but I’ll get a one made to suit along the VE lines.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/321899788813

In that add it also mentions 2 pumps that can be used

I run the Harrop VE style one in mine, had it in the VZ Tonner and now in the back of the Lexcen, not sure if it would fit in a VR though…

Are you going to have AC in this one?
