You have a tailshaft speed sensor setup correct? If so can you steer me to the posts where/how you set it up.
Thanks

Posts: 5 777Tbh,I can’t remember, we made up an aluminium plate that bolted between the trans mount and trans, I am not sure what the speed sensor was off. The chop disc was if I remember rightly off a T400 and we just machined it as a press fit on the tail shaft.
November 11, 2018 at 9:57 am #27473All good cheers man.
Whats come of this? Had Brenton finished or what?

Posts: 5 777I feel like its taken forever, I’ve been away for work for a couple of weeks, I believe the heads are finished, I am hoping he is coming up Wednesday night to fit them and measure up for the pushrods…

Posts: 5 777Well finally then day has arrived, Brenton delivered the heads and look fantastic. So we measured the ptv clearance, and there’s heaps, so he measured up for push rods which we will order and should have by the end of the week. So then its me doing the final assy of the heads etc, then get it down on the engine dyno to see what its capable of. Then all being well it will be back in time for me to get it back in the car over my Christmas break. Can not wait!!!

Posts: 5 777Well slow and steady wins the race, just been slowly putting it all back together over the last couple of nights. Close to all I can do until I get the pushrods (sands vs not sure Brenton has ordered them). Very satisfying slowly and methodically piecing it back together.
The million dollar question is if the rockers with 750 though of lift will fit under the rocker covers. I hope so as I like the look of them. If not anyone know if you can buy spacers plates to give more room?
November 27, 2018 at 8:10 pm #27568Got more photos of how the coil are mounted.
