Finally, some progress, literally porting finishing up today, just a bloody hold up on the delivery of the million dollar rockers, which should be here soon…

Yea well, so far I have had to sell both my kidneys, also my first born child.  Given I am 53, I cant offer my virginity, so if anyone has any ideas without resorting to robbing banks let me know…

Btw for those playing at home, I expected to see them polished, but they are actuallly 7000 series Aluminium and shot peened for strength and fatigue crack resistance.  Quite a bit of tech in them for something so simple looking.

My induction won’t support 8,500 rpm.  7,000, maybe 7,500 is more like it.  But time will tell…

So whats it just need the top end assembled now?

Yep the pedestals on the heads where the existing rockers mount get machined flat to take the adapter plate, then I think it’s working out pushrod length and buying them.  Then I think assembly and dyno time.

He is aiming to have them finished next week.  Its taking  along time, and patience is not one of my virtues, but not much I can do…

Yea, he has a lot on the go, and it does look first class quality wise, I am sure it will be worth the wait when I stab the gas pedal for the first time…
