Guy at work has a very original VR V8 5 Speed (that one day I would love to buy off him as the basis of a track car ha ha) Anyhow, it has developed a noisy thrust bearing. Pretty noisy when using the clutch when cold, quietens down when it warms up.

The guy hasn’t got much cash, anyone know of any cheap homey kinda fixes, is it possible to somehow use some sort of wonder spray and get some lubrication into it, or is it a gearbox out type of deal?
