    New to the forum, there are a few nice builds on here. Had my VN for 16yrs now and decided a few years ago to wake it up a little. Had a few issues during the process but slowing coming together now.

    Car: VN SS 91 Alpine

    Engine: The engine is a 355 come racing crank with Garrett Single Turbo setup. Only a 61mm wheel but comes onto boost great. Will upgrade down the track to a 69mm wheel. Scat H beam rod, Dished Forged Pistons, Come TTB, Turbosmart Hypergate, Flowcraft Heads, JP pump and dual row chain, YT rockers, Wade custom cam on 114LSA, ARP throughout, Romac Balancer, Cometic MLS Gaskets

    Trans: T700 lasted 5 minutes so changed to T400 full manualised built by MDT and TCE 3000 converter

    Fuel: Pierburg internal pump. Custom Surge Tank, Twin Bosch 044 feed pumps. Aeromotive Pro Series Reg, Siemens 875s injectors

    Ignition: ICE Module, Coil and Booster

    Exhaust: Custom manifolds and exhaust. Screamer Pipe

    ECU: Running Haltech with E85 Eflex and Wideband O2

    Interior: Standard S2 interior

    Diff: 3.08 gears

    Boost: Turbosmart Eboost boost controller

    Anyone know if there is much noticeable difference upgrading from garrett gt wheel and internals to the gtx gear?

    Hey Banga its all application specific, gtx extends the choke point at upper pressure ratios, unless your operating at pressure ratios which warrant the gtx wheel (>20psi) it will make little difference. Better off going to next size up…
