Now have the engine running well, is abit loud so might put another muffler on it.

Tried to move the car and hit my next problem, will not select first gear. So I have pulled the box out and the bloke who built it is going to pull it down and see what’s going on. Hopefully I get it back quickly as the car is pretty much ready for a test drive.

    So all running now.

Problem with the box was the bloke that built it didn’t put a pipe in it so it didn’t have oil feeding somewhere.

Had it tuned a couple of weeks ago by Jason at Ls1pwr. Made 478kw at the wheels. Really happy with it.

Next is to get the rear tubs sorted so I can put my weld magnums on.

Have a little bit of tidying up to do on the inside just with wiring for gauges and stuff but will sort that out over the next couple of weeks.

Once I fix my Photobucket il put the dyno video up.

It has a Vl turbo diff at the moment, I am going to just shorten one of these or put a 9 inch in.  Have not decided as yet.  Not sure I need the 9 inch really. I’m only going to race it a few times, it will be a street car 95% of the time so not sure it’s worth the extra $$

So after going on a holiday I got the car out to finally put some km’s on it.

Box was slipping so pulled it out and didn’t take it back to the guy that built it after the drama I had with it in the first place. Ended up taking it to Paul Rogers, something I should of done to begin with. He basically rebuilt the whole box and found quite a few things wrong with it. It’s back in and driving better than ever. Going to buy some street slicks this week and hopefully within the month il get it down to Calder to see what it can do.

I have a video on my other phone, il try get it off there.

Was going to race at calder last Friday but was rained out, so will go next time.

A mate of mine did the manifolds for me, took a while but got there eventually. If inbuilt another one I’d just go to killaboost, his stuff looks really good and I didn’t like waiting.

Im running rb30 k frame with tuff mounts. Will have power steering eventually, I have the rack and am going to run Astra electric pump. At the moment it has a vl manual rack in it.

Didnt think a pump would fit with the turbo gear in the bay so left it off, could of probably made it work but don’t want to mess the bay up now.

Now I have worked out how to use photo bucket again, here is the 9 inch I’m putting in. Should have axles by end of week, then put the brakes and wheels on and roll it under and weld the brackets on.
