My crs starter kit should be here this week , also ive been looking at the proflow stainless extractors they make for the vb-vs ls1 conversions (PFEEH 5345S) any reason i shouldn’t ? are they worth the coin or should i just stick with pacemakers ?
cheers.

Posts: 47I’d definitely stick with the Pacemaker’s mate. The money saved simply wont outweigh the possible heartache once fitment time comes. They may fit perfectly but if it was me i wouldn’t be risking it.
March 3, 2015 at 10:54 pm #1803Would stick with the pacemakers too. Ideally a custom set would be the best though. Seems to be a big hit and miss thing between the mounts you use and how the headers fit when these conversions are done. Generally pacemaker recommends you use their engine mounts when you use their headers and I noticed you have used tuff mounts instead. Maybe something to be wary of.

not worried about the price difference between the two but yeah your right better to just stick with what I know will work. thanks
March 4, 2015 at 10:50 am #1873From what I’ve seen and discussed with owners of other LS early girl conversions, the Tuff Mounts & Pacie combo is a match made in heaven.
