What stuff do you carry in your boot?
My list –
Jack
5ltr Fuel
5ltr water
Oil
Powersteering fluid
Brake fluid
Spare tyre
Tools (screwdrivers, socket set, spanners, vise grips, hose clamps, etc)
Rags
Different length fuel hoses
Who carries radiator hoses, fan belts, wheel chocks, etc ?
Is there anything else crucial that I should be carrying in my boot ?
Cheers,

I carry a mobile phone and AA card.
Obviously the regular crap that comes in the boot from the factory + high vis jacket, tow rope and jumper leads and some spare fuses in the glove compartment. A paper clip is also handy to check fault codes.
A pinhole leak in a hose can be temporarily fixed with some electrical tape and a hose clamp. If I’m going long distance than some basic tools.

I don’t carry anything extra aside from a few fuses. I have RACV total care, anything more and I call.

dont carry nothing in the boot besides a serge tank and water meth tank that are bolted down or I will end up with dints every where from it flying around bashing rear panels
Who the heck Takes fuel hose with them
never in my million km of driving have I ever needed to replace fuel hose on the side of road or top up brake fluid

Posts: 5 777I made up (yes i am borderline ocd) a tool roll with pretty much every spanner needed to anyhing but an engine swap. If i go on a cruise i chuck in jumper leads. But every drive is phone and wallet

RAC card is in the wallet.
October 25, 2016 at 6:43 pm #20327I’m surprised that not much more then your RAA/RACV card and mobile phone is on the only thing carried, hmm…
I would rather be safe then sorry and carry more then needed then not needed.
Cheers,

Basic phillips & flat blade screwdriver, shifter, rag maybe few small tools that fit in centre console & mobile phone + towtruck business card in case bastard breaks down…
No spare wheels etc as 15×10 3″ backspace & tubs means most wheels dont fit.

Posts: 5 777Yea I modded (cut down) my spare wheel well so that I had more room for the varex muffler. So I have a space saver off a later Commie. I keep the tool roll inside the wheel centre so its all nice and neat.
