August 14, 2017 at 7:16 pm #24048Totally transformed the car Frazer, so happy with it now, racing at my home track again this weekend so it was time to change out the running in Oil..
These Michelin tyres are amazing, they just don’t wear…

Posts: 775wow Ian that looked hairy over the bridge , as what Gary said look a lot more controlled
August 15, 2017 at 7:00 pm #24055Thanks guys, yeah it’s a different car now still way beyond my skill set and you have to respect it or it will kill you but it’s no longer actively trying to end your life!
Racing at my home track this weekend and did the Oil and Filter change to my race setup, this was the reason I only did 4 laps Sunday it still had the single 30wt running in oil in it!
Data logged my last 2 runs, I was only full throttle 4 times each lap for less than 2 seconds each time, max rpm was 5980 and all other parameters were good!
All in all really happy with the Fat Bitch now!

August 18, 2017 at 5:53 pm #24089Easy fix. I’ll swap you for smaller brakes.
August 18, 2017 at 6:05 pm #24090LOL they still pack up with Mud and Rocks and kill the wheels, the Wipers should help prevent it!
August 21, 2017 at 9:11 pm #241234th in class and 4th overall, great result after a bit of a slow start times got quicker and quicker, just have a few trust issues with the car after it’s 18 months of bad behaviour!
Wheel wipers worked perfectly!

August 22, 2017 at 5:04 pm #24136Thanks Gary, a world of difference just need to learn to drive it now!
Wheel scrapers worked awesome, no gouges just rubbed off the thin coat of paint I applied Friday!
August 29, 2017 at 7:38 pm #24234Weeping Surge tank lead to a fuel system rework/simplification..
September 4, 2017 at 7:04 pm #24296Unexpected side effect of the much more stable Centre Diff is the car no longer has the lift off oversteer I was using to get it turned on tight corners.. tried the stock handbrake and as it’s a VZ setup it’s 9 parts useless…
Plan T was a hydraulic!
I wanted to keep the ABS system as it’s really hard to threshold brake 1.5 tonne on Dirt so after a bit of research I found a set up that should do the job!
