December 23, 2015 at 12:43 pm #12652Looks awesome that height and with the lower profile tires.

Toyota did a good job with the SC400 coupes, suspension seems to be falling rate+ rising rate bags = very linear! “Battery inside” is the solid blue triangle.

Yeah I think it doesn’t look bad, downside is the AWD running gear adds 50mm down below so you can’t run it slammed unless it’s a very smooth track!
Your parts are on their way!
December 23, 2015 at 2:33 pm #12654Today p.s
Just been out doing the last bit of suspension adjustment, driver weight compensation, locked it all up and refitted the shock covers, stick a fork in it it’s “done”.

Yep just waiting for the Machine shop to reopen and finish it up, also have the AWD Monaro I built coming back for a Trans build and a refresh/reseal on a VY SS Wagon so plenty to keep me busy in the new year :XD:
December 27, 2015 at 11:19 am #12721Today End!
Had a thought overnight about the reinforced control arms hitting the front discs… the rears use a very different offset but unlike the front it has backing plates, checked this morning and yep there were witness marks that could be a problem on full compression if they pushed the backing plates into the Discs… DOH..
Bit of a re profile was in order so now it has adequate clearance!
Bin full of Swarf after making the Pivot ball mounts for the shocks!
(bin was empty when I started)

Yep always good to turn surplus parts into $$$ I was going to build the Tray into a Tipper but it wasn’t ever going to happen…
The Machine shop is back on the 4th January so shortly after that I hope, they got the Stroker a few days before they shut down so doubt anything has been done.

Extra room is always a good thing, I freed up a LOT this time last year when I chucked a mate and all of his crap out, gonna be busy here the next couple of months so it’s good to get the Lexcen suspension sorted.
