I am a bit curious but will probably just buy a GTech..

But that ruins the fun :( And wheres the video/photo op’s from people left pointing and wondering “dub tee eff, an all wheel drive early model? Nahhhhh”

    LOL yeah there’s that!

….but will probably just buy a GTech..

Never seen one before, just had a read on their website. Are they as good as they say? Seem like a pretty handy bit of kit?

Not Super duper accurate but close enough for me to get a benchmark!

    Today End!

    My newly modded Koni’s..

Looking at doing simular,  which koni inserts did you use im being told two different options length wise?

What mods did you do this time?

Where did you get the sleeve kit from and which was it?

Are the sleeves attached welded or bolted in?

    Cheers

I already had the short version, they cut the bottom mounts off and weld a bolt on, this drops them 15mm in the tubes and they short stroked them 60mm this lets me move the spring seats down, the sleeves came from Oto Moto, I welded them on.

    Today End!

When I first did the Coilover setup I machined the Upper Spring Seats to work with the Holden upper bearings so they’re useless for the new setup, I contacted the Supplier and they’re $140 on their own… a bit rude considering the whole kit was $299..

Just happened I had a piece of 6061T6 bar there so spent the morning making some new Seats!

Thanks Sands, have you given any thought to how you’ll do your top seats?

They normally come with a 14mm hole in them but even if you drill it to 16mm for the Koni’s you lose 2″ of travel to the bump stop, I machine them so they locate in the spring and the top bearing then bore a hole big enough for the bump stop to locate on it’s stock seat..

I have 4 here you can have cheap  :XD:

I also have 2 x 12 minute use Nolathane Strut tops and 2 x 3000 km old ones here if anyone needs some!

    Today p.s

They got my steel cut early in the day so a quick trip down to Melbourne and I’m good to go, no I haven’t lost the ability to count it’s just cheaper to purchase extra material than to drive back down for more if I screw one up…
