Today DOH…
Went down this morning and flashed a new Config into the ECM to drop the fan temps a bit and to correct the Tyre Diameter for the Off Road Rubber…. as I finished up the cable got caught and dropped out of the car hitting the Hoist leg then the concrete… one dead LCD screen…
On an unrelated but just as frustrating point I’m having trouble getting the Hankook RS3 semi slicks for the rear of this thing in 275/35R19…. 5 weeks..

There’s no real rush I can wait the 5 weeks, I can get my fronts dirt cheap so all good.
October 15, 2015 at 5:26 pm #10142Today End!
My Mate came up and we finished bleeding the brakes then took it for a run to Bed the Pads and Rotors in, all good it’s still continent and made it home under it’s own power!
October 16, 2015 at 8:56 am #10157Today!
Found I’d made a couple of errors in the Tune when I changed to the larger diameter tyres, corrected it and flashed the new Configs in so all set for Sunday!

I think it’s the 2nd last round for this season and yep it’s an actual race, I’m just using it as a test day!

Today p.s
Refilled the Lsxcen and it’s used around 20L in “testing” considering this was a total of maybe 20 Km’s it’s a bit thirsty….

October 16, 2015 at 4:59 pm #10167A bit hard…. :XD:
60L Main and 8L Surge
Tune is “safe” when it’s in Open loop, quite rich, there was a lot of idle time and I’m assuming it’s breathing MUCH better now with less restriction on both sides of the engine..

I think it was your thread that got me interested in them, one of the few companies that do the sizes I want/need to work with the AWD system! :XD:

Thanks Gary!
I’m sure one of our 2 Club photographers will get some!
October 18, 2015 at 4:01 pm #10258Today End!
77 seconds 1st run, 72.5 second run then they changed the track layout, next was a 52 followed by a 56 when I aborted the lap as it felt “wrong”…. Had a whole bunch of toe in on the rears so I loaded it up thinking I’d bent the rear Toe arms, got home put it up in the air to find it’s twisted the ends of the control arms like Minti Wrappers… DOH
Only other “issue” was an intermittent throttle Bog something to do with the DBW off the line, it shows potential and I have a small list of bugs to iron out, there was some Vid shot I’ll post it up asap.

LOL Gary, thanks.. The ends of the arms were a little suspect from the start, I didn’t expect this sort of failure though and glad I caught it before it became terminal!!
The Vid Clare shot isn’t something I’d post it’s very low quality from a phone, if anyone else has some I’ll pop it up, failing that I have another event next month then Winton in December I’ll organise a camera!
October 18, 2015 at 6:54 pm #10280Winton…. Like a tarmac circuit??
