Thanks Sands, even if it’s not competitive it’ll still be a bundleOfun and was only ever going to be a Toy as it doesn’t really fit any “Class”..

Today End!
Frustration continues… plugged all my gear back in this morning, bzzz nothing no Dash, “Car not found” error on EFI Live…
Fiddled a bit talked to Justin tried a few things if I hot wire it I can get the dash up, only error is an ABS one but that’s expected seeing there’s no Master Cylinder in the car, sucked the calibration out disabled VATS still no go…
I can “dodgy” the wiring and make it all work/run as there’s no Starter Signal currently but I’d like to get it working correctly if I can… enough for today my brain hurts..
September 18, 2015 at 11:03 am #9315I’m sure this thing is messing with me because it can….
Went down and did a few checks, all ok other than 1 loose ground, I untaped my surplus loom and traced a lot of the suspect wires back to their origins then checked the loom in the car, all good..
Spoke to Justin on the phone and told him my findings, he pulled up the circuit diagrams and suggested to test one of the fuses…
I had already tested it for continuity and the Fluke beeped happily away, Justin said try it for Voltage… BZZZZ “404 Voltage not found” argghh swap in a fresh Fuse turned the Key on and it’s fixed!! I have Indicators, Reverse lights, Starter, Throttle, Gear display on the dash and everything functions as needed! MFer…
I was seriously starting to think it was time to hang up the tools and settle into dementia.. Lesson learned so all good!

Today End!
Wiring is 99.95% done, just have to mount the Window switches and Wire up and mount the TRAC and PWR buttons!
Created a neatness this afternoon and I’m happy with it!
September 19, 2015 at 10:31 am #9352CBF’d weekend….
I did go down and plumb my windscreen washers up as VR/VZ run the bottle on opposite sides of the car, found some genius had fitted the 1 way valve backwards…
Also trimmed up my Shifter Cover so it fits properly now with all the new wiring, worked out a spot for a bracket to hold the Window switches and PWR/TRAC buttons.
September 20, 2015 at 1:29 pm #9368Today End!
Did my Tow Straps, nice of Holden to leave a handy cutout in the rear bumper!!
Also made my mount for the Window Switches and PWR/TRAC buttons, I think it came out well!

Thanks Gary, given the limited space I had and the big bulky OEM switches I’m well pleased!
September 21, 2015 at 3:54 pm #9383Today End!
Bit of a “DOH” moment today, installed the Steering and Brakes now all the Wiring is sorted, haven’t had the Coils in while the Booster was on.. BZZZZZ do not pass go..
Was thinking of a full Coil relocation for that side but had a fiddle and with a bit of a rework on the bracket I was able to get them in!
Also trimmed the front Airdam so it can turn with the big tyres fitted.
2nd pic is the “Leftovers”… considering I already binned a LOT of the VR loom it’s a lot…

Today End!
Dash Day!!
Had to integrate the VZ switches into the VR dash cover so took a bit of time, everything functions, I need to check the pinouts on the VR Hazard switch to see if I can splice it in.

Thanks, it’s “good” from about 3M away, up close not so much, but it is all functional so I’m happy with it, it was never going to be a show piece, I mainly did it as a piss take on one of my old Toyota mates.. :XD:
There’s not a lot of Toyota left in it….
