Thanks for the offer Chris, Justin got me the diagrams I needed to get it sorted, I have a couple of volumes just missing #8 but considering the Mirrors and Windows are the only VR wiring left in it I guess I don’t really need em now :XD:

August 19, 2015 at 12:03 pm #8519Today End!
The Saga continues… in my rush yesterday I failed to notice that the Loom with the correct ABS/TRAC Plug had the incorrect ECM Plug… DOH
Turns out a VZ/L98/76 Sedan harness is rare as rocking horse poo.. solution is to trace and graft the correct ABS plug to the loom with the correct ECM plug making one out of the two… grrr

There is not a lot to “like” about it, its just that kind of work that’s gotta be done…

August 19, 2015 at 7:38 pm #8530Strangley I don’t mind wiring, not the working out of which goes where but the mind numbing task of stripping, twisting and soldering something about it is relaxing ;-) hahaha

Posts: 5 777My trade is Radio Electonics, i don’t mind working on regular stuff but i reckon auto electrics are generally aweful to work on. Especially older filthy looms….
August 20, 2015 at 8:03 am #8550Yep it’s one of those slow and steady things that just takes time, there are no shortcuts and it all get’s a bit tedious…

Posts: 5 777I truly am going to have a bit of a shed clear out of the LS/HSV bits and pieces before I get stuck into the Kombi. Just need to finish off the Senator and wait for the weather to warm up a little. Anyhow, apologies for the thread diversion, carry on
August 20, 2015 at 12:29 pm #8565I welcome the diversion Gary, a bit over the Lexcen atm…
