It’s a Harrop VE Heat exchanger, Davies Craig EWP110 pump a couple of Davies Craig 10″ Fans and at the other end the Harrop Stealth Force 2300 TVS Blower.

Not really, the Harrop Rad is just from their generic HTV Kit, the Davies Craig pump was from an E-Bay Vendor, what car is all this for?

If it’s going to be a front mount W2A I have the Upgrade Ford Lightening Pump here you can have cheap, very low KM’s on it..

    Today End!

Got a bit bored so went down and fiddled, a full cartridge of Sikkaflex later the Scoops and ducts are all installed!

Cool post up the dimensions when you get it, that supplier that has the plastic mounts also does radiators/coolers .

Which plastic mounts are you talking about sorry?

Also what’s the need for the plastic header tank ontop of the water pump.

Couple of pages back in this thread, tank is just a header, seperates bubbles and makes sure the pump doesn’t cavitate.

Ahh yeah you did mention that. That’s a bit more clearer.

Been looking at generic w2a coolers. Some cheap ones going around. Wonder if there is any science behind them

Not really, just comes down to big enough Hardware to Transfer the amount of heat you produce, I found when I had my Supra after 500Whp the Hardware gets bulky/heavy to cope making it hard to package, back then I was using PWR Barrel coolers.

No the VE Harrop style one I mentioned earlier..

Just so we’re clear on this there are 2 Heat Exchangers, the one in the Blower you’re pretty much tied into what Chev supply and the one normally mounted at the front of the Car, we’re talking about the one at the front of the car, my suggestion is to have a look at the one Harrop supply with their VE Commodore kists as I think it’s about as big as you’ll fit in the front of the Gen 2 shell.

    Hope this helps.

    Today!

Just back from the post office, have to love eBay!

As I’m not running a heater in this thing I needed to delete the hoses, you can’t just cap them off as the heater tap is the Thermostat closed bypass, the fittings on the engine are -10 and -12 so looping a piece of normal hose isn’t going to work too well not to mention it’s a tight radius unless you make the loop 300mm which in turn is ugly..

Did a search for LS Heater Bypass hose on eBay and found the exact piece I need!

    Today End!

Only Fuel Sender I could find that has the right electrical range and is a Tube type so it’ll work with the Tank Foam was 25mm too long for my tank…

Pulled it apart but there’s no simple way to shorten the body so my only option was to make a riser for it!
