Thanks Gary, yeah it’s not slow and the video doesn’t show how steep it is there!

    10% grade so 200M in 2km.

Thanks Frazer, I clipped one with the mudflaps on run #1 so that was a 5 second penalty…

Made sure after that to NOT hit anything but in doing so my mid chicane speed was 30kmh so I was losing seconds there..

Pretty damn happy to have placed so high on my first visit to the track, the car was consistent and a joy to drive with the Front End mods I’ve done, completed every single Lap even in the 30c+ temps on day #2 after only getting 3 hours sleep following helping a Mate change out his head gasket that blew on day #1…

Just a heads up Motor have a picture and a bit of a blurb about this beast in the Long Termer section of the latest magazine. They took their loaner i30N to Haunted Hills when you were there.

Yeah couldn’t get a decent enough full size photo and it was mostly about the i30N which I didn’t think any one would care about.

Following the Hill Climb I had a few weeps and a leak from the Surge tank, rectified it all.

Happiness is a Dry Fat Bitch, was looking like I might not make the last event of the year, the new submersible fuel hose finally turned up so good to go, also had to Tig up a trim on the Tonner tray that had cracked..

Thanks, have improved the handling so much in the past 4 months, it’s incredible to drive now it no longer tires to kill me multiple times per lap!

Yep pretty happy, not a lot of competition in my class but the car has come ahead in leaps and bounds this year and is improving each event.

I’ve taken a few outright fastest days so it has the potential, I just need to drive it better.
