Speed@ 70001st = 92kmh2nd = 166kmh3rd = 253kmhJune 11, 2018 at 7:56 am #26566Fuck they are killer photos.
Some laminated a3’s in the shed, next to the photo of me and my car would look killer.

June 13, 2018 at 5:24 pm #26591235/60-16 left 225/70-16 right, I found with the 225’s if you dropped enough pressure to get grip the big sidewall would fold like a hinge, the 235’s should solve that issue and shouldn’t loose too much footprint being wider.

June 15, 2018 at 4:07 pm #26593Spent the last couple of days sorting the Suspension in this thing, after lowering it a couple of years back it’s totally screwed the front roll centre so it was going positive camber cornering but there was no more Neg adjustment left, I figured a way to dial some more in by modding the top and bottom mounts!

Posts: 5 777This thing sure has progressed/improved hasn’t it, I guess thats the way race cars go, very cool car.
June 17, 2018 at 9:21 pm #26611It’s probably not a great deal of development time considering the scope of the original build, that and there has been 0 dedicated testing time it’s all been during competition, starting to see good improvements in the car’s behaviour so I’m on the right track!
After taking it for a quick spin the Mystery Harshness/Vibration was back, the only thing I can find is the Output Bush in the Transfer Case has a lot of wear so the slip yoke is rattling around..
Pulled it apart and the Bush is the only sign of wear the rest of the Case is in good condition and massively overbuilt compared to the Holden Transfer cases, off to Melbourne in the morning to collect some parts for it.
June 19, 2018 at 4:14 pm #26623No go on the parts in Melbourne, ex USA so they’re on their way, dropped by my driveshaft shop to confirm my diagnosis as as I thought the shagged output shaft bush will cause the symptoms I had!
Pulled the other half of the Transfer Case this morning as it’ll be easier to assemble the unit on the bench and refit it.
June 19, 2018 at 6:02 pm #26624Damn. I need parts from Usa. Should bundle them.
June 19, 2018 at 6:16 pm #26625Mine are already on their way sorry…
July 2, 2018 at 11:09 am #26674Yaay can start reassembly!
