Made one but it looked weird. I didn’t like it.
Thinking of throwing a different radiator in it with thermos and a proper cover to do away with the alloy one which is a bitch to keep looking clean and also do away with the fan shroud. From what I’ve read though its a bit of pain then because you have to set the thermos fan operation temp in the delco which is a shit job or have a separate switch for it I guess.June 17, 2016 at 1:07 pm #17823Davies Craig thermo fan controller. Easiest and neatest way IMO.
you need a radiator with a flat top like mine. Suss my thread. It’s there somewhere.

Gotta call a spade a spade…
June 27, 2016 at 9:32 pm #17991Yeah thought around 8.5 just wondered if they were staggered or slightly wider rears.
I seen your previous billets are on ebay on my last squiz though. They were different but those bc’s are sick.

Best 1/4 mile 13.1@105mph 60ft-1.8sec Reaction time .8 sec 0/100-4.8secJune 28, 2016 at 7:19 am #17998They are just a clean 5 spoke design. More expensive than 3 piece simmons but lighter and better quality.
Cav’s the first person to say anything negative at all. Every single person loves them. You can tell they aren’t cheap wheels.
Rears are 9″ front 8.5″
June 28, 2016 at 9:01 am #17999What tyres did you put on it ??
Thats insanely expensive man
For about $500 more then the cost of these wheels i got adjustable coil overs, 356mm brakes all round with 8 and 4 piston callipers and my new semi forged wheels with 10 inch rears
June 28, 2016 at 9:21 am #18000Nitto Invo tyres at the moment.
They are more expensive than simmons. I paid a lot lot less than that lol. I actually paid less than a set of 1 piece simmons. Just lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

Not negative. I didn’t say the look crap, Just make an observation.
You’ve gone from polish FR, to gold FR, to one set of billets and now another billet which at a glance does look very FR like.
5 spoke aren’t my thing.

Posts: 5 777Stupid ass question, what are the original rims that would have been on this, anyone gotta pic?
June 28, 2016 at 12:05 pm #18007The family wheel was the stock wheel but with a (specific to SV5000) offset (+30) and width (8″)

Posts: 5 777Wheels are such a personal thing. I like the originals. I reckon a custom set of rears to match the fronts in say 18 x 10 would be pretty cool. But again as I say, some guys (like you by the look) enjoy swapping wheels very few months or so, I work with a guy exactly the same. To each their own. The nice thing is the green goes with a lot.
June 28, 2016 at 4:26 pm #18012I don’t want to swap at all I just wasn’t happy until now. These will stay long term.
18s is too small for me. The factory wheels are only 16s. Way too small.
June 28, 2016 at 7:32 pm #18019Those wheels are awesome. I love the stepped dish. Too bad i already ordered 3-piece Simmons for mine!
Got more pics?

Posts: 124Those wheels are killer I reckon they suit the car to a T. Don’t think i’ve ever seen them before either, so points for uniqueness too.
Surely you find grip a struggle with no sidewall tho :( even on invos, that’s gotta be the biggest downside to wheels like that. To me form follows function, so 18s are the best compromise. If I saw your car at a show, i’d still buy you a beer if I could
