Posts: 13Some of the cars i did with photoshop.
Taught myself how to do it all… i think i only ever watched 2 tutorials, and that was to do cars that look like they are smoking the tyres. Still have a lot to learn yet…. getting there slowly.
Spend a lot of my time these days restoring photos.

Posts: 5 777^ that VF Monaro you have done in the bronze color is more like what I wanted for the Kombi. I then need to gt the white top right, i think its going to need to be more ivory/pearl.
Very nice work, great skills.,

Posts: 13it will be a challenge actually…. the window in the rear pillar, and the position of the front seat head rests will have to be moved in front of the b-pillar to make it look right.

Posts: 5 777I actually chatted to Frank about it when he was painting mine. Really only shooting the breeze but we’re semi serious. We were going to extend the two front doors, then tilt the front screen back a couple of degrees, and toyed with using a VZ monaro roof chopped up a bit. I know it would have been tons of work, but would have been pretty unique.

Posts: 13Could do a better job with a bigger hi-res pic. Plus I’m working with a raging head cold….
Moved the rear window back, dropped the roof a bit, lay the front pillar down a bit…. looking at it now, i think the door might be a bit too long.

Posts: 5 777You really want to use an image hosting program like photobucket, I did a write up on how to use it if you haven’t already. Then the image size is much larger and instead of just showing up as a thumbnail its full size

Posts: 5 777The VR looks very cool. I reckon you have the roof line close on the bottom two, but it would need the width of the normal B pillar to make it work. It would also have to have a one piece glass section behind the door. Very cool, thanks

Posts: 13quick modification. Lower roof, moved the rear pillar back a bit, lay the front pillar down a bit more….. and added the A9X rear window.

April 8, 2015 at 6:07 pm #4275Much better Tony, was thinking maybe a Monza rear window, never liked the extra glass in the VR/S.

made it hard to do the “coupe” look…. i tried a infill panel, but it didn’t look right.
