I don’t suppose you could post up the dimensions of your drop box?  Contacted my preferred supplier and they can have a shifter here for me when ever I want it :)

The more I think about the more I’m keen to do the same.

Looks good mate, Gary could you do one for a 3 speed?! id buy one for sure!

No but this guy can as he made it, and its a perfect fit, i literally had to just cut front and back of the tunnel a bit here and there after removing the standard auto mount plate. I was careful to note where the stick was in drive so could then make sure i positioned the box the shifter would sit in that same position

So was a bit of a fluke but i took my time putting drop down in, in what was what i thought perfect position. So with shifter in and the auto facias slightly adjusted its a perfect fit. I also am thinking of mounting nuts under the drop down box so dont have to piss about trying to get nuts n bolts done up from underneath car. As you can see because i cut the reverse lock out lever n welded in line with shifter its a tad short, who uses these shifters been shorter will it be annoying. No it does not hit facia not even close just bit further down to flick up I will also be putting black slide strip back in so u dont see white edge of facia slide strip will have slot for reverse lock out with a brush seal.

I want to fit a Pro Ratchet to my VS like this, but don’t think it’ll work with a pneumatic cylinder fitted to the shifter

Shifnoid air/c02 shifter setup so I don’t have to take my hands off the wheel or throttle (hand controlled throttle and brake) to shift when drag racing.

You may need a gated shifter

It’s an actual kit for a Pro Ratchet.

Should make life easier at the strip with manual 400. I’ll try putting up a thread next year when I start the chassis work or earlier if I get some engine progress pictures :good:

New trims have finally been finished, had the colours changed from 15i to 25i and had the arm rests done in black leather. Should look good as have black carpets and plastics in the ute.

Thanks hahah my interior is all pretty much brand new, its actually nice to sit in, not looking at stains or damaged interior parts etc.

The black interior parts has worked well with the 25i colour codes

I ended up going with a levelride system they use slam specialty bags. The system is a full self levelling kit so as the road changes so does the air pressure to keep the car level. They are an aussie company look them up on FB.

It is one of only 2 kits that can be engineered in Australia.

The coilover kit i have in the front is k sport no real issues with them, i did get shorter rear coils made up as the coils they come with didnt drop it as much as i wanted.

The ride with the bags is actually really smooth doesn’t feel like your driving a boat.

So fitted one of the trims, realised the brand new door vent i purchased off ebay was not 25i but 15i. So thought stuff it, set the boys up at work and went to two pick a parts, first one had bugger all 25is but managed to get heap of the plastic door plugs and screws. Second one had bugger all 25i’s and just as i was giving up hope i found it, a grandpa speck 25i.

The door vents never been touched no paint scratched off them etc. No P plater had hacked at them. So carefully removed them and gave them a good clean. I also took the glove box as my one had few scratches from life as work ute.

Mental note dont look closely at vs trim its shit house haha, nothing lines up 100% and every trim piece depending on the plastic is a slightly different shade. Very happy with the trim, yes the kicker speakers are a bit hectic ill paint the covers black.

Loving the leather, now off to get the tint redone as its rooted. Be interested to see now with door trims and all the sound deadening what its like inside now.

Ill try get some good pics during the day
