Apologies for the thread hijack but am going ahead with a custom Build Ninja 3D part to mount the shift lights as we have instead of having to make up a custom plate.  I just went to UPI and picked up a regular 4 speed auto plate, so have measured it up.  Just finished modelling the prototype and printing the first off now :good:

Hahhaha mint!!! Yea how did you fit with those style lights as couldnt use them as they were hitting the metal plate on B&M SHIFTER think maybe your shifter mounted lower than my one.

Hence i used leds, went on a cruze with mates today, people were pretty impressed with this style install. The lights at night dont really even bleed into the other shift positions.

Thanks for the tip, will have to check that when the prototype is done.  I did notice on mine I shifted them across to the right a little as I had made up a whole new plate decal as its two speed.  But I am trying to make this line up with the factory positions like you did.  Do you have a link or something to the led’s you used?  I thought if it possible I will try and make it suit either depending on preference.  You did a really nice job, not surprised people are impressed.  Its the little things like this that make a lot of difference imo.

Now you just need the under radio 3 gauge cluster and trip computer replacement one like mine to finish it off ;-)

I’m planning to go manual in my Senator but never really had a real high stalled auto, with a shifter setup like this I may just have to go the stalled auto route before the T56 goes in one day……

I drive Auto’s like a manual anyway, it’s just bloody terrible with the factory shifter and something you fuck it up royally.  With something like this you can slap it up/down a gear without worry :cool   :yahoo:

Absolutely, I just started a separate thread in the 3D section we just created.  You mind posting in there, I have a couple of questions to ask you about what you want?

You could do three speed by simply using 1,2,d and skipping 3rd with the lights? Ill find a link of the leds
