Just Thought id post up my daily for you all to see.
I will be waiting to hear the feedback from fellow members
and im sure it will be a talking point for a few.History of the vehicle is that it was to become a track car but it didn’t end up getting that far.
Most of its life it has sat in a work shop collecting dust and moved around.
once in a awhile it would have a few laps, but that’s about it.
In the time it had a face lift as you will see.MODEL: Holden (HBD)
MAKE: Commodore Executive VT S1
YEAR: 1997
KLMS: 78.500 KLMS
DRIVE TRAIN: AUSSIE V8
GEAR BOX: 5 speed manual

Posts: 5 777Just gotta love the modified car scene, its different that’s for sure. I bet it would confuse a few people as it drove past with the Holden V8 engine note…
August 12, 2016 at 9:36 am #18992It shocks a lot of people. most can not believe its a vt until I open the bonnet.
I have to still finish off the interior bits and pieces. I have most parts except the seats and steering wheel.
but its a work in progress and will someday be all finished.

August 12, 2016 at 9:39 am #18994Both rear quarters were replaced and had to get a structural integrity report to show the new welds were same as factory.
this way insurance too is covered and I feel safer driving it.
Front panels and dash is a easy bolt on.
August 12, 2016 at 4:28 pm #18996Why not just buy a Vy?
August 12, 2016 at 4:38 pm #18997This is something I always get asked. I want something that is different to just a VY,

sure yeah because you have a VY look alike with a 304 but that’s a actually a fearly big step backwards from a normal VY SS with a LS1
but that’s not for me to worrie about, you have done really well with what your doin and put in a huge effort
August 14, 2016 at 6:08 pm #19024Cheers for the comments.
