My last addition to the collection, running out of room.

Model: VF SSV Redline Reserve (Pack Code GMH)

    Year: 2017

    Colour: Red Hot

    Engine Type: LS3 6.2Ltr

Exhaust: Stock BiModal Exhaust And Mechanical Sound Enhancer

    Gearbox: 6 Speed Manual

    Diff: Limited Slip Differential

Brakes: Front and Rear Brembo® Brakes

    Suspension: FE3 ultra sports suspension

Wheels: 19″ Chevy SS inc spare with Red Centre Caps and Tyre Pressure Monitors

Interior: SSV Leather Seats, Reserve embroidery on Dash, Premium Floor Mats and Enhanced Sill Plates

Other Mods: ID/Build Plate (Inc Employee ID Number), Sports Armour, Rear Sun Shade, Rear Sun Visor, Black Pack (Side Vents, Mirrors and Grille) And First Aid Kit. Custom Key Ring Box, Signed and Framed Copy Of Broadcast Sheet (Inc Employee ID Number).

Stereo: MyLink infotainment system with 8″ touchscreen, 9-speaker Bose® premium audio, Sat Nav and Reverse Camera

Future Mods: None keep it as it left the factory

This one is a very special car for me. It’s an employee only edition (My Dad works at the factory) which is a Redline SSV with a few extras. Not a huge amount but enough to set it apart from a normal Redline.

    What;s different?

19-inch bespoke wheels (As per Chevy SS) Red Centre Caps (V8 Models Only)
    Reserve Edition badging
    Embroidered Dash Pad
Head Up Display (standard on Redline models)
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (V8 models only)
    Commemorative Key Case

To recognise the contribution of Holden employees, each vehicle will be individually engraved with its owner’s unique employee number on the build plate. Each Reserve Edition model comes with its production line broadcast sheet, the check sheet that accompanies each vehicle through Holden’s Elizabeth plant. Not only this but knowing my dad worked on this car and it being one of the last RWD Commodores built in Australia too.

There won’t be many updates on this one as it will remain pretty much as it left the factory. It may be lowered down the track but for now I will just enjoy driving it.

(Double attachment for some reason, lol. Not sure how to delete them)

Very nice, caught up with a mate who has just ordered a Motorsport edition, yours sounds very similar?

Yes and no. This is an employee only edition, has a plate in the engine bay with my dads employee number on it. Plus other stuff mentioned. The motorsport has heaps more but I bought this as it meant more to me. It was this or a Motorsport. Sentimental value was the reason I went this one.

The motorsport is still based off a Redline but gets

    Motorsport Decals and badging

    Smaller lip spoiler

    Build numbers

20inch Gloss Black Wheels with Holden milled in.

    Cross-Drilled Front 2 piece rotors

Chevy SS Seats heated with memory function

Gun Metal grey calipers with red Brembo decals

    Magnetic ride suspension

Engine and Trans (Manual and Auto) Cooling Package

That’s most of it anyway, lol.

Yea right, yea Adam a was telling me about the motorsport, seemed almost like a HSV without the bodywork.  Yours sounds really nice though, end of an era :negative:

Yeah, HSV without the extra power and bodykit I suppose. Sad it’s the end of an era.

Quick photo today outside the Holden factory with my sister’s car and my dad’s car. There is a photo of him and his car on the building too.
