Posts: 5 777I hope this is true, please, please, pretty please
March 30, 2015 at 3:56 pm #3605Can’t see it being true.
If it is, I’d be pretty ropable if I was the bloke who paid big bucks for the “last ever Monaro” as advertised by Holden at the time.
Pretty sure it was an auction also and went 100k +

Posts: 5 777Nah wont be called a Monaro, he said that “While a V8-powered two-door coupe follows the formula set by the iconic Monaro, Jacoby ruled out reviving the nameplate.” but here’s hoping its V8 rwd…

Posts: 264The fact they rule out the Camaro and Corvette in a way leaves me to believe the Cadillac will come over. Would most likely be called the Commodore SS (keeps the SS badge going and the V8) and hopefully keep the fans happy to some extent.
Just my thoughts based on that article and what I have read previously.

Posts: 5 777I really love the new Cadillac, I would seriously consider one if they bring the good spec one over
March 30, 2015 at 9:10 pm #3645I agree Gary. It’s a very nice looking machine

Surely they wouldn’t call a 2-door a “commodore”??
would still be awesome to have a LSA powered rwd Cadillac or the like come over though
March 31, 2015 at 8:41 am #3676Yeah the last Monaro went to guy west of where I live, and I though it went for $200k, I could be wrong, but it did get auctioned off
I would say They will bring out a 2 door to compete with the 2 door mustang but it should be the camaro and corvette
And stuff it bring viper here to

Posts: 5 777The Viper is mental, on my way to work i pass a crowd that brings in Camaro’s, they often have a couple sitting out the front, the look pretty tuff, have often thought about stopping and taking one for a test drive.

Probably won’t call it a Commodore but maybe an SS or something similar. A TTV6 called SV6 and maybe the supercharged V8 called SS,SV8 (revive an old badge) or SSV. Not sure what they would call but just reading between the lines a bit with all the reports and trying to piece it together.
Or I could be completely wrong, lol.

Posts: 26I’ve wanted a CTS-V for a long time, I’d buy one in a heartbeat if they bought a RHD version here.
They can have my V8 when they pry it from my cold dead hands.
April 3, 2015 at 4:16 pm #3834I’m more interested in the mid engined corvette replacement?
