Hi all, has anyone on here fitted k Mac strut tops on a VT VZ before. They came highly recommended and have found them to be a real pain.
Im fitting BC GOLD coil overs in my VZ and wanted adjustable strut tops getting the K Mac ones for coilovers.
Firstly the strut tops wouldn’t fit in the tower no matter how hard I tried, I contacted k Mac who advised me they had tried the tops in there strut mould which to their surprise also didn’t fit, they told me to grind the nolathane to fit in. I was not happy to grind a $500 part.
So they sent me some newly moulded tops which are no better than the ones I had…..I must say that the quality of the product or finish is absolutely crap, very poorly finished.
Not sure what strut tops to use? Car is at a holt until I get this done? Any suggestions from experience.
Got any pics? Would help to see what is fouling
