Just had a look at a pic of my. And they do push in from bottom
I have a extra piece that sits on top of cradle and helps bind it up

Also what’s the opinion on making the a/c bracket out of alloy. The factory one weighs a tonne. As well has anyone put a tension pulley on a aftermarket alloy p/s bracket & alt bracket?got some ideas,just wondering if someone’s already done it. Cheers in advance

Was different setup to most cars being built.
Had eye on it as price was going down too busy to go look at it..also had eye on that twin throttle body yellow vn was in vic,then qld ended up in darwin….waited too long,wanted driveline for lc torana.
February 25, 2016 at 10:11 pm #14578Spot on cuz , was bigger pain in arse than I thought it would be. Motor is a credit to bloke who built it all them years ago. Hope it goes for a dozen more. Which I’m sure it will.
