Posts: 75I forgot to mention, use assembly lube and not engine oil for the trunnions.
Engine oil was too slippery and I kept dropping shit so I tried the Lucas assembly lube which is thick and sticky, it was much better for keeping a grip on things and keeping everything aligned when pressing in the new shafts and bushes.October 9, 2018 at 9:55 am #27312

Posts: 140I have completed the trunnion upgrade. The heads are back on the car and the inlet manifold is on. I bought a new harmonic balancer on the weekend and installed it. Ill finish off some more tonight.
The cheap valve spring tool i bought worked really well.
