    I forgot to mention, use assembly lube and not engine oil for the trunnions.
    Engine oil was too slippery and I kept dropping shit so I tried the Lucas assembly lube which is thick and sticky, it was much better for keeping a grip on things and keeping everything aligned when pressing in the new shafts and bushes.

    I have completed the trunnion upgrade. The heads are back on the car and the inlet manifold is on. I bought a new harmonic balancer on the weekend and installed it. Ill finish off some more tonight.

     

    The cheap valve spring tool i bought worked really well.

    I finally got my pushrods yesterday so now I can fit the rockers today.

    Finally finished the car last night and it started first go. Now time too book in the tune.

    I booked my car in for a tune tomorrow and I’m felling a little nervous. Im going to check over everything to make sure shes good to go.
