I posted this on my build thread, but prob belongs here.  So first up bloody well done to FLI355 for what hes come up with, they are bloody great!!.  As payment for the CAD work I got one of the protoypes, its fantastic.  So for mine I wanted to mate it to the B&M Pro ratchet for a semi factory look.  For now I just turned up an adapter out of some 16mm diameter round ally bar I had, and drilled and tapped it 1/2-20 UNF and machined a lead in taper on the bush.  I then just used my vice with a rag to protect the knob and pressed the bush in.  I reckon a better way would be to make a male/female one piece bush that’s male m10x1.25 and female 1/2-20 and screw it in.  That way it makes the knob more rigid as it looks like it relys on the gear stick shaft for support.  But I really like it, feels great too.

This is a quick layout of what I have in mind.  If i get a chance I might make one on the week end, then I can confirm all the dimensions if anyone else wants to do the same.

I know what you mean but I don’t want it to the totally factory looking, I quite like it chrome with the b&m logo, its sort of shows something trick has been done if that makes sense.  If I could I would get the reverse lockout barrel trimmed in black leather.  But some other day.

Made up the correct adapter today, worked really well.  Will update the dimensions on the drawing above for anyone else wanting to do something similar.

Yes and yes. Not spruiking forums anymore. Word of mouth type of thing.

There’s around 5 out there already plus one on my car. Doing a GTSR one at the moment.

Message me on facebook for details. I think you’ve messaged me on there before?
