Posts: 5 777Well welcome, the idea of CP+ is not thousands of members, more just some quality builds and great members willing to share info. And of course no nazi moderators, in fact so far I have only had to moderate one comment, everyone is pretty laid back on here. Sort of what SC used to be before the owners neglected it.

Hi, welcome.
So, what was it you wanted to know about my build? Of course I couldn’t post on JC, sorta missed opportunity that
But feel free to fire away in my build thread.

Because I moved here :bye: then told Grennan he needed to harden up, threw a bit of a tanty and deleted my blogs, garage, profile etc. told Darren where to go as well.
Good news is I brought a couple of dozen clever blokes across who also had enough of the peurile stuff.
The ethos furthered by the JC moderators is skewed to numbnuts, also done my dash trying to help anonymous smartarses. Better the smartarses you know eh?

Posts: 5 777Pretty much exactly my experience. There is a lot of really good people over there, and a hell of a lot of knowledge, just most of the moderators are nazi’s. I personally started on Street Commodores, much much smaller member base than JC, but imo had more of a technical focus whereas JC (not knocking it at all) was more regular Commodore owners and questions. The whole reason I started this one was I saw SC going belly up at any moment, so I thought I would start an alternative.

Posts: 535I don’t know, I always thought there were plenty of idiot on the SC forum as well.
TBH, that forum had been struggling for years, I had an issue with my login when I first joined, tried for months to get it fixed but no mod or admin did anything. Eventually managed to get it sorted but no help from the people who ran it.
In the later years my browser would also regularly warn of potential malware issues with the site so I just stayed away to be safe.

Posts: 5 777^definitely think your first experience on a forum can sort of set the scene. On the first day I enjoyed SC, but had the opposite on JC, but a lot of that comes down to just luck of who happens to be on at the time you post etc. Anyhow this is up and running now, enjoy and welcome
