How did you go with the diff dude? Got any measurements? Was hoping you’d do an indepth on engine bays so I can learn more lol.

Still havn’t got the diff back mate. I think he is still waiting for his shipment of foote axles to come in from the states.

Diff has to be 1394mm disc to disc in order to fit the 15×8, 4″ backspaced wheel.

Looking great. Whay I meant was, I need someone to paint my bay lol

Haha I know man, unfortunately i don’t have any resources to do backyarders. Makes it hard sometimes, even for myself.

I had to sell my work an iPhone 4 just to use the booth.

Put the front end back together today. It looks amazing!

New additions was a new front bar, new headlights and new overflow bottle. Now the real fun starts!

    Gotta be happy with that.

Something about a freshly painted bay, the only problem is everything that goes back in has to be at the same standard.

    Nice progress.

Havn’t been able to do much. Still waiting on a diff and trans to get this party started. Soon i hope.

Put the booster in. Never thought it’d be that difficult to put on 1 nut. Damn steering column

Story of my life man haha. Every time i find a set for $400 they are just junk.

Surprisingly wasn’t all that bad or hard to do man. probably helped i’m keeping the fusebox and overflow in the bay to.

It’ll be nice and neat with black speedflow fittings and hoses. there will be 4 things in the bay. Overflow bottle, booster, fusebox and engine. hidden wiring will make it look killer

Just checking you have the correct (bubble) flare on those brake lines into the VT Master? If it’s the factory double flare then you really should have the adaptors on there. They’re only a couple of bucks from Race Brakes Sydney.

I didn’t have them on my setup for a few years (typical ‘she’ll be right’ approach that I often take) and of course it started weeping at the worst time – whilst on the track at PCM.

Im actually looking at moving my windscreen washer bottle and came across someone that was making them to fit in the area where the wiper motor is for vk vl etc. Just a thought.

^another option is a universal one mounted up under the guard, that’s what I did.

No idea honestly. It came out of Scott Mccaffertys black vk ‘vkefi8’. I’ll just run the same lines and everything he did.Same setup as Matt Smoores red vk ‘fstgmh’ as well. so i guess guaranteed to work? might not like the wilwoods though haha

It is a good idea. It would clean it up alot. I like the fresh overflow and recon they look nude without it,
