Is your radiator like a vl turbo one or larger?

What bottom hose did you use if you can remember.. Mine has a kink in it once it got warm and the shape changed so want to swap it to something that is the right shape.

    Cheers

    Justin.

Tell me about it man. It sucks. Just costs money.
I’ll be racing for the first time at Calder in the Vl on the 7th as well.
    Can’t wait to go fast!

Well, the bonnet cost me $50 with the hole already cut. It was mainly to get me through summernats when i was running low on cash. And nah, big filters look stink. It’s actually getting a 4″ cowl for street duties.
Yep, i’ll be there. I’ll be the tall dude with curly hair and glasses

Mines a custom made one by South Coast Radiators in NSW.
My inlets are on opposing sides so i get a full 3 passes in the radiator to cool it down.
    I use:
    Ch5472 – upper (off a ve)

    Ch3585 – lower (off a patrol)

What a weapon. Seeing your work on the bay has me wanting to do mine before I stick the motor in.

This was All Holden Day last Saturday at the Dandenong Showgrounds.

Apart from the on and off rain, it turned out to be a great day seeing a heap of cool cars and catching up with some good friends.

I was more surprised than anything to walk away with the Best Drag Car Trophy haha

I couldn’t have asked for a better first night at Calder Park.
    Raven ran 10.92 @ 127, 1.77 60′ straight off the trailer.
    PB of the night was a 10.73 @ 128. 1.64 60′
Time to chase a number and see what we can come up with.
The car will stay as is for the Holden Nationals at Heathcote, and during the winter the box will come out and a looser convert will be put in. it was unfortunately a bit tight for for the combo. apart from that, zero issues which is always a good day.
    Many Many thanks to:
Matt Smoors, Christy McGill, Scott McCafferty, Cameron Jones, Jess Handbrake, Jason Kenny, Daniel Deering, Adam Harrison, Casey Automotive, Next Gen Race Cars
Photo Credit Peter Fergadiotis and thanks for the push

Wow, that’s stout, bloody well deserved trophy too, I reckon it was the OCD plumbing of the hard lines on the fuel cell that won it for you ha ha. :good:

Hopefully 10.6-10.5 range with a with a looser converter.

60′ foot is killing the run like a boss

Literally a dream come true man.

I’ve never steered anything quite like this before.

Can’t wait to get behind the wheel again which will be May 6th at Heathcote Raceway for the Holden Nationals

What’s it like to drive on the street with the converter? I’ve gotta order a converter and need to figure out what stall speed to get.

Its killer on the street man.

Nice and loose. Easy to maintain speed etc
