February 10, 2016 at 5:41 am #13954Thats a good attitude to have when your stuck in the monotonous stages of just pushing on. Even dialed right down the first drive will make you forget those long nights. Great work in this one
February 10, 2016 at 10:25 pm #14001So i got home tonight from work at 6:30 quickly ground down the welds before it got to late on drivers side and spent the night manually sanding and working the drivers side of the bay and got it smoothed out looks pretty good for a statesman bay i think and for the most part the motor covers alot of it but it looks sweet definately on track for my goal of highfill on sunday arvo

February 11, 2016 at 9:47 pm #14047So bays smoothed as much as i want it to be its all smoothed in the areas that are visable and should make a nice impact visually without being full blown over the top i ran out of 1k etch so i gave up for the night lol

February 19, 2016 at 2:38 pm #14281Paint time tommorow time for colour not the initial colour but this will be good lol spray painter issues biggest one is colour choice :/ especially when i have 5000 plus colour chips at work to go through but decided to make use of the atlas grey mix i had for my old ss that this setup was ment for

Posts: 5 777Atlas grey is a bit of a timeless colour I reckon, nice.
February 19, 2016 at 3:34 pm #14283Yeah its always been one of my favorite colours and the original plan was to black everything that wasnt atlas on the ss when i had it so ive just decided to stick to my original ideas but on a different canvas its not original atlas its had a bit of a metallic pop to it aswell subtle but clean wouldnt notice if you didnt park beside a genuine atlas but if you did it would make the original colour look real blue

Posts: 5 777Yea nice. Sounds a little like my anthracite, in certain light its got quit a bit or purple too it, gives it some interest rather than just a straight colour.
February 19, 2016 at 8:04 pm #14292Thats cool im a big fan of taking a factory colour and modernising it a little subtley always a great thing i did the same to my mates vn ss when i did all the paint and panel on it cleaned the looks up and still stays true to what it is “)
