    Hi guys,

I’ve been looking at the angry spaghetti monster I’ve got from within my vx I stripped.

Can I retrofit a vs style dash cluster to work with the vx style bcm?

I haven’t checked it yet but I’d bet a vs style cluster would pretty nicely fit in my vans dash.  otherwise I’m up for a full custom/modified cluster and I’d rather avoid that if I can just mount a commodore cluster.

Also I can set the Ks to suit the vans if I can go with an earlier cluster.

Not sure if this is exactly the same but in my case I have a VY ecu mated to a VR/S cluster, but the BCU is still VR.

Ok I didn’t think it could work like that.

so im going to be running a VX BCM and want to try wiring up a VS style cluster, assuming it fits in the hole.

if i match sensor wires, and warning lights etc, in theory, will it swap over?

Hey mate, Dan btw is the guy that did my cluster for me, a bit of a guru when it comes to what can be done.  This is his fb link :)

Hopefully getting a vr cluster this week, so first job will be making it physically fit, second is to wire it and make it all work with vx bcm.

I figure the 4L60e ran the same speed sensor so it should talk the same way.

got around to test fitting the VR cluster. and its a fail. too big and no way of fitting it in unless i hack a good inch out of each side of the dash. so no commodore dash in my van.
