Better than that in the current market – Vermentino from Adelaide Hills – like a dry German riesling but more intricate and delicate. Perfect with oysters and chilled shellfish, my new release for summer 2015. 100% sales success rate.

    Naturally as-pirated, all-motor.

Unusual to see the effort and level of detail you have gone into for a regularly driven interstate highway km eater.  Fast and efficient, very cool.

It’s also awesome to see a different approach to modifying and tuning.

No forced induction or strokers or huge head+cam arrangements, just clever use of today’s technology and ecu capabilities. I hope more people go down this route for tuning, though I daresay there’s cheaper ways to make HP.

The main thing I love about this car is that other than the cost of building and Tuning, there are ZERO downsides. No loss of driveability or smoothness, and effectively a DROP in fuel consumption. A package that is very rare in the real world.

^agreed most mods you make that increase performance make the engine more efficient, and hence driven right can make it more fuel efficient.  Valve event timing (especially overlap) is a big exception.  That’s where the use of vvt with this rig is so cool to effectively overcome that drawback.

Thanks for the positive feedback, this forum rock  :good:

The other interesting thing about this build is the thermal stability when using high octane ethanol and high mechanical boost. Ambient today was 32° along the Pacific Hwy near Byron Bay:

    Highway cruising

Bumper to bumper crawling to standstill

And this is after two hour drive Gold Coast to Bangalow:

They look good the lights, suprised you can get them already as a spare part. Being a led was there a wiring mod etc to get them working?

Even the “always 85%” ethanol is only ever 81%-83%, so I ‘splash out’ on high grade alcohol – e95 – on weekends:

Huge difference at 14:1, 20 litres costs $60 and a trip to Bunnings

For perspective, the difference between ULP91 and PULP98 is seven RON points. Take that difference, multiply it by 3x … this juice is 120 RON… yes that’s 21 points higher octane than PULP98.

Is that first picture a Nos Fogger????

And I thought dry sumping takes more than an accumulator, doesn’t your oil pump need to be changed out altogether?

    Watching this closely…
