Got a Billet Products short shifter for sale. Had it on my VY SS for a couple of months.

    Suits VT-VZ with T56 6-Speed.

These come with a rubber mounted shift lever but it was a bit on the soft side so had it made into a solid lever. Shift lever can be set high or low. High position is around standard height from memory.

Positives: Extremely short throw. Very firm, positive engagement. Most tight, accurate shift I have come across. Australian made quality.  :good:

Negatives: Very heavy shift. Very noisy.

I ended up swapping this out for a Rip Shift race version. Was using the car as a daily drive and in traffic I found it to be too heavy a shift. Rip Shift was a lot lighter, prob about the same as a standard shifter, but nowhere near as precise as the Billet. The noise was no big deal with windows down or radio turned up. But with windows up and radio off the noise drove me nuts :negative: , much louder than the solid stick Rip Shift.

If the car was a bit louder and not driven every day I prob would have stuck with it.

    Price: $120 inc postage.

Any questions send me a PM.   :wave-bye:

Damn shame I don’t have a T56 cause I’d snap this up.  Had a billet shifter on my old T5 and it was great bit of gear.
