All the idiots who went and protested deserve to die anyways. So let’s hope the virus kills and few of them before we find a cure.

Was going to have a CBF’d day, thought I’d go down and redo a couple of the cable lugs as I wasn’t 100% happy with them, one thing led to another and I’ve just finished up now… DOH

I’d forgotten the sensor wires for the fuel pressure regulator so ran them out then hooked up a few other gauge wires, I still have to trim down the other ECU cable as you can see from the pic it’s a bit long..

Ohh forgot also ran the main power cable to the fuse panel.

But I have removed so much from the Lexcen wiring that was redundant, gotta be happy with that!

For sure, do you think you will weigh it at some stage, or not worth it?  You scale yours don’t you?

Yep I need to weigh it to set up the corner weights, I have my own home made scales..

Kicking goals today, ECU Wiring complete, wired the washer bottle, run the wires out to the engine bay and terminated a couple of bundles.

    Early starts suck..

Got the Intercooler pump wiring done, installed some relay blocks for it and a couple of other loads, wired up the Radiator Fans and did the Rear Wheel speed sensor wiring, that’s enough..

Cold Wet and Miserable day here, had to trace a few wires I was unsure of so went down and fed it some power, no magic smoke so that’s a good sign!

Had a rethink on how to do my Front lights, shot into town to get a couple of Relay Blocks then came home, cold wet shit day again so I figured I’d just “fiddle” then call it a day…

    OCD kicked in Yo..  B-)

They do a big centre vent but it would channel hot air straight into the roof vent..

Way back when I first built the Lexcen all the electronics and electrics were based on VZ commodore as that’s what I was familiar with, the VZ runs a lot of pedal switches and at the time I didn’t have any so reused the VR stuff..

Problem there was they don’t really work the same so to get cruise control to function I ended up building a flip flop circuit using 3 relays, clunky but worked or so I thought.

When I stripped the Lexcen I didn’t pay attention to how I’d wired it and since then haven’t been able to decipher WTF I did back then… DOH

Been bugging me a LOT so today I decided to tackle it again, broke out the Holden manual as it has a really good description of the circuit interactions, turns out it’s a redundant switch and the Normal stop light circuit will disconnect the Cruise..

Cut a long story short it now works with less parts!

Cruise control is one thing you can come sort on my setup. I’d LOVE it!!!

    We could sort something out!

    ————————————–

Sorted how to connect the BMW Wiper motor to the Holden wiring, even got it to self park, don’t want to use the BMW bulkhead connector as it needs a HUGE hole, I’ll use a Deutsch 4 pin, didn’t have any so a trip to town was in order!

Done for the day, finished off the Wiper motor install and wiring, shortened the Daylight sensor wiring.

Bit more done, wired up the Intercooler fans, Electric power steer pump, mounted up the obd-ii port and PIM.
