what do you use to take pics ? and what process do you use to get them on here ?
December 12, 2019 at 7:37 pm #30773My phone, nothing special just an old Moto G4 Play, I upload to my Facebook page then right click/copy image address and pop it in the pic box here.
December 13, 2019 at 10:34 am #30776Cooling system time, found that the cable tie mounts have trashed the fins in the radiator, another full day straightening them coming up.. so another trip to Bendigo to collect material to make a proper mount for everything..
December 13, 2019 at 2:37 pm #30777And Home, one of the biggest issues with the Lexcen was the lack of steering lock, I had to drive it very straight as it was so easy to run out of turn…
“Let there be Lock”
December 14, 2019 at 11:50 am #30781My big PWR radiator is wider than the chassis rails so some notching is in order, there’s really nothing forward of there so I could probably get away with the notches and a reo plate on the inside…
But just in case I add front down force I braced the rails with some 20×60 box, will go down after lunch and do some more.
December 14, 2019 at 5:55 pm #30782Done for the day, didn’t get as much finished as I wanted, the BMW steel is paper thin in places so I spent a lot of time patching holes..
December 15, 2019 at 11:44 am #30785One step forward one sideways, need to think some more on the heat exchanger mounts, reality kicked my arse and everything will mount off the side braces I added yesterday..
I also need to mount them all on isolator mounts so they don’t die from stray current.

Posts: 5 777Looking good mate. With that amount of luck you can add drifting to its capabilities!
December 15, 2019 at 4:44 pm #30787Not a big Fan of drifting, it’ll be nice being able to slide it when needed and have a chance of catching it though, had a snooze on the couch and woke with a way to mount the lower rad/cooler support, too late to go back down today so I’ll hit it in the morning..

Posts: 775always something to get done
December 15, 2019 at 6:28 pm #30789Yeah, from now till it’s finished it’s just going to be problem solving by making things fit, I have 0 hesitation now if something’s in the way it get’s cut off so that helps!
It’s really easy though to look at an issue and be instantly overwhelmed due to the complexity, walking away and thinking about it helps a lot..

Just be aware after a period of time the link will break, FB doesn’t assign a permanent address to each pic. The only way I know is to use an image sharing program like Imgur etc.

December 17, 2019 at 3:56 pm #30806It’s a bit of a packaging nightmare, I had ALL of this in the front of the Tonner when it had the Blower Engine in it so I know if can be done (including the AC Condenser)
46c, that’s just silly, 35c here but I guess welding in the shed it was probably mid 40’s..
