August 26, 2019 at 2:01 pm #29577Yeah for sure, 275 semi slicks and a 2:1 steering quickener I doubt I could turn it with a manual rack..

August 26, 2019 at 6:24 pm #29579Should have a lot more lock this time so might be able to save it more often
August 27, 2019 at 5:19 pm #29583Trip to Melbourne went without a hitch, took more meds than expected and I broke it up with a few stops to visit mates, food and shopping along the way..
What was once my favourite thing to do has become a bit of a misery, hopefully things improve with time..
August 31, 2019 at 7:56 pm #29615Spent around 6 hours today doing some race prep and mods to a mate’s race car to get it ready for a hill climb early next month.
Seem to have pulled up ok, bit tired and a bit sore but nothing extreme, should be able to get back into mine this week.

Posts: 5 777That’s great news mate.
September 2, 2019 at 10:27 am #29624Still a bit twingey Gary, so won’t push too hard, I have a few obstacles to sort due to the rack being relocated so it’ll require a bit of thinking so not a problem taking it slow at this point!

September 2, 2019 at 6:14 pm #29628Last time I put the front end in the BMW back together i’d made a mistake (shouldn’t car and drugs) ….
Just spent the last 2 hours putting it back together properly, making much more sense this time.
September 3, 2019 at 4:17 pm #29631Mission accomplished, I can start unscrewing everything that went amiss due to the rack location change now..
