    Fuck, you got me beat.

Well then a little sepsis and blood poisoning won’t bother you at all then.

    LOL not a title I want…

Big course of antibiotics and a tetanus booster should see me right!

Cool story Cav but we both know it isn’t true  ;-)

That’s enough for my first day back, reworked the Harness Bar as it was in the way of the rear shock towers, dropped the rear diff ready for the poly bushes.

Banged the thumb a couple of times to remind me it’s still sore…

The “Plan” changed and suffered a bit of Bloat, the idea was a 3 to 6 month build, missed that but there’s an event in September I’d like to hit, failing that the next “Big” event is November, failing that whenever…  ;-)

Can’t say just how much I HATE removing old bushes, always turns into a chainsaw massacre, if you were doing them all time you’d make up some press tools..

Rear shocks bolted in for a test fit for the first time, had enough today.

You’re still left with the Steel sleeve that needs to be removed as well, I cut the centres out with a hole saw then use the Demolition saw to cut the sleeve then the air hammer to bang the sleeve out…. just tedious annoying shit, I’ve burnt them out in the past but it creates more mess and stink..

Modded my jig to suit the front axle track, painted up the front Diff mounts then pondered the front suspension LCA’s, need more thinking time so that’s it for today.

I need a trans jack like you have for my shed also.  Might be next on the list I think.  The scissor table does its job but is too bulky for others.

That’s pretty cool Chris, would have been good to check it out IRL!

Decided to do a full mock up before going any further just in case any old age brainfarts had crept in along the way, all good will proceed tomorrow.

Yep all good, bit of a surprise as I was set to mount everything rearwards, no reason to other than weight distribution! ;-)

Thumb update, infection looks like it’s gone, still have another day of antibiotics left to go, swelling and pain are gone, still a lot of blood under the nail and quick, getting itchy so it’s healing..

I made a similar mistake a few weeks ago.  We had to go and save a damsel in distress, after the late night move was done I had to back a trailer down a long driveway with no lighting over a rise so I couldn’t really see where I was going.  Got out ok but killed my shoulder doing it, my boy ended up driving home.
