currently I run 16×7″ chasers on my vc and I am looking to widen them to 16×8 and run 245 45 16 rubber.

has any one done this and if so what ofset did you use? Front/rear?

Or for that matter has anyone done similar with a 15×8″ to give me an idea?

obviously any wheels 8″ wide will be great info for me, not just steel wheels..

<span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>Fr17 3 piece 8 inch wide is lower now but had to change from a bfg Tyre to kumho to stop scrubbing currently profile is 245 35 17 I think….. I run a vl diff too just a basic guard lip</span>

Have ran 245 16s on rear with sssl springs in my old burnout car no scrubbing

My first vb ran vl diff and 18 X 8.5 wide wheels too no drama was spot on with the panhard rod alignment and those guards weren’t even lipped

What diff is in the vc? I can’t see any problems with your wheel choice assuming the offset is same as earlier commodore from the ve interceptor

    Hope this helps
